About Association
Management Companies
Association management companies (AMCs),
like Queen Communications LLC, are for-profit businesses that provide
professional management services to associations, societies and
governmental agencies.
AMCs maintain a centralized office, which
serves as the headquarters for multiple associations. Any overhead costs
are shared between the AMC's various clients, increasing each
association's resources and capabilities without requiring major capital
investment.
Under this shared-resource model
specialists are drawn from the personnel pool and are assigned on an
as-needed basis, delivering professional expertise for a fraction of
what it would cost to hire full-time staff.
There are more than 600,000 associations
across the U.S. AMCs collectively
manage 80% of these associations with annual budgets exceeding $3.4 billion. These AMCs book nearly 2 million room nights and $1
billion in meetings and conventions services annually.
